Meet Rachael (she/her)
I work with individuals and couples. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and grief, life transitions, cultural exploration, family and social relationships, and self-identity.
My Philosophy & Approach
As Registered Clinical Counsellor, I understand the vulnerability of attending counselling. I provide clients with time and space to share their thoughts and inner dialogue. I work with my clients to develop a stronger sense of self and to accept their unique identity. I offer both individual and relationship counselling in a safe and supportive environment.
I work with couples to effectively move through conflict resolution, practice more effective communication, and create new connections within their relationship. I strive to create a space for both partners to find a better understanding of their self and of each other. The goal is to feel heard and understood, and overcome unhealthy patterns.
I am a person of colour and work with clients through a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive lens. I work collaboratively with my clients to gain insights, healing, and create a more fulfilling life.
